The Terumo Neuro PHIL 25% Liquid Embolic System Starter Kit (REF LEN10250) is a non-adhesive, precipitating hydrophobic injectable liquid (PHIL) embolic agent supplied in the Standard 16 cSt viscosity formulation at 25% polymer concentration. PHIL consists of a biocompatible co-polymer dissolved in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) with an iodine component covalently bonded to the polymer for inherent radiopacity under fluoroscopy, eliminating the need for added tantalum powder and the associated mixing or shaking steps prior to use.
